Swimming with sharks

Fancy seeing Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Newcastle presenter Sue Sweeney swimming with sharks? If enough money is raised for Comic Relief she is promising to take the plunge.

Forget dancing like Britney Spears. Forget climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Newcastle's Sue Sweeney says she will take her life in her hands and swim with sharks if listeners donate enough money to Comic Relief.

Sue is planning to lash on plenty of waterproof mascara and take the plunge on Red Nose Day, Friday 13 March 2009, at the Blue Reef Aquarium, in Tynemouth.

She will be putting on her red nose and cuddling up to sharks, a giant octopus and seahorses.

The types of shark at the aquarium are Leopard, Black Tip Reef, Port Jackson, Coral Catshark, Horn and Banded Cat sharks.

But she's not going to squeeze into a wetsuit for free. If you want Sue to dive into this very fishy Comic Relief challenge then you need to donate your cash.

Find out how you can pledge your money here:

And then text Sue when she's on air on 07786 200954 and let her know how much you're shelling out for the sharks.

You can see Sue Sweeney's shark swim on Look North on Friday 13 March and listen to her adventure throughout Red Nose Day on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Newcastle.
