Do one thing
Do your bit for wildlife

Springwatch is back!

Springwatch is back and you can get involved with events in Newcastle and Gateshead this June.

Springwatch is back and this year there's a new theme: "Do One Thing" - an invitation to do YOUR bit for the wildlife where you live.

Whether you live in a town, city, or the countryside, there's a lot that can be done to help and encourage local wildlife - and the Springwatch Festival is coming to the North East to give you some ideas.

What: Springwatch Festival in the North East

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Bus
The bus will be at Blaydon on Saturday

Where: Blaydon Burn and Newcastle's Leazes Park

When: Blaydon Burn from 1-4pm on Saturday 9 June and at Leazes Park in Newcastle on both Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June, from 12-5pm. Both events are free.

Do your thing

The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Blue Bus will be broadcasting from the events over the weekend and there will be lots of things to see and do, including a Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ "Pledge Tree" where you can make a promise to "Do One Thing" for wildlife.
