Ji-Min Park trained at Seoul National University, South Korea, with Philip Kang and at the Vienna Conservatory, Austria, with Helga Wagner.

Awards include first prize at the Klaudia Taev International Competition for Young Singers in Pärnu, Estonia and second prize in the GB Viotti International Music Competition in Vercelli, both in 2007.

Opera performances include Don José (Carmen), Ferrando (Così fan tutte) and Ernesto (Don Pasquale) for Opera de Baugé, Rodolfo (La bohème) in Seoul and a televised opera gala concert in Korea. In recital, Ji-Min has sung at La Scala, Milan, La Fenice, Venice and at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.

Ji-Min joined the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the ROH in 2007 and made his ROH debut as Third Esquire (Parsifal), followed by Gastone (La traviata, also understudying Alfredo), Fourth Jew (Salome) and Scaramuccio (Ariadne auf Naxos).

In the 2008/9 season, Ji-Min sings Nathanael (es Contes d'Hoffmann), Pang (Turandot), Kleiner Graf (Die tote Stadt), First Sailor (Dido and Aeneas), Coridon (Acis and Galatea) and Second Noble (Lohengrin), and understudies Rodolfo (La bohème). Future plans at ROH include Young Sailor (Tristan und Isolde), Messenger (Aida), Rodolfo (La bohème) and cover Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi). In 2010/11 he will sing Roméo (Roméo et Juliette) at La Scala.

Ji-Min enjoys reading, shopping and sleeping.
