Nica is in the vegetable garden which is coming into fruition at this time of year. Her grandson is helping her lift potatoes, and she remembers doing the same as a child with her own grandmother.
Now her grandchildren are helping her pick peas, beans, raspberries and gooseberries. Sometimes they pull up the wrong plants, but it doesn't matter.
