Choir sings hymn over city from Cathedral top

Members of Gloucester Cathedral Choir have scaled the building's tower to mark Ascension Day.

It is an annual tradition to mark the 40th day after Easter.

The Choir of Gloucester Cathedral climbed all 269 steps to the top of the cathedral, delivering the final hymn of their Ascension Day service - The Lord Ascendeth Up On High.
