Rubber ducks, plastic cups and toy boats - bath toys are great fun in or out of the bath!
Just holding and squeezing the toys will build your baby's muscles.

Leave time for your baby to copy and respond and repeat their sounds back to them.
Fill a plastic tub or bowl with warm water to explore.
Try saying "splish", "splash" or "splosh" as you play - your baby will link the words with the actions.
Gently drip water on their fingers or toes. Put two words together like "wet fingers". This helps to expand your baby's words.
