If you or your class would like to find out more about getting active and using the power of sport to improve fitness and wellbeing, here are some free resources and initiatives to promote physical activity, covering topics such as Footy Phonics, Maths, PSHE, anti-bullying, and inclusive sport and PE.

They've been developed by our campaign partners, the Premier League, ParalympicsGB, and Activity Alliance and offer opportunities to interweave learning with sport in school, deliver inclusive PE sessions and encourage your pupils to be active outside of the classroom.

There are plenty of film, audio and print resources to teach Physical Education at primary level on the �鶹Լ�� Teach website. Get your class moving for their health and wellbeing with Moodboosters, Super Movers and Let's Move collections.

Premier League Primary Stars

Team up with Premier League Primary Stars and use the power of football to inspire children to be active, look after their wellbeing and develop important life skills.

Premier League Primary Stars offers free and engaging learning opportunities for pupils aged 5-11 in the classroom, the playground and on the sports field. Whether it’s Footy Phonics, Active Allies, Wellbeing Stars or our Active Summer Challenge, there are over 650 curriculum-linked resources covering PSHE, English, Maths and PE – all completely free to primary schools in England and Wales.

Designed for teachers by teachers, resources feature professional footballers and cover PSHE topics such as diversity, resilience, self-esteem and fair-play. You’ll also find resources created in partnership with organisations such as the National Literacy Trust and the Anti-Bullying Alliance, and the chance to win exclusive opportunities such as a visit from the Premier League Trophy.

ParalympicsGB Path to Paris

Join Team GB and ParalympicsGB on the Path to Paris and complete a virtual journey around the world powered by your own physical activity.

Get moving more this summer by embarking on an exciting journey towards the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games with the Get Set Path to Paris virtual challenge from Team GB and ParalympicsGB.

Children and families can virtually travel around the world by getting active and logging their activity, whether it's travelling to school by wheelchair, running in the playground, or swimming on the weekend. Every minute of activity logged converts into virtual kilometres to power your Path to Paris and win amazing prizes along the way!

Activity Alliance Inclusive Education Hub

The Activity Alliance and Youth Sport Trust inclusive education hub has lots of support for you as teachers or school staff to review and improve your inclusive physical education and school sport delivery.

It is all made possible through the Department of Education funded, Inclusion 2024 project. Once registered, you will be able to complete the Inclusive PE self-assessment. Then you will be directed to relevant resources based on your answers and receive tips to continually improve the way you work.
