- Identify how animals and plants are adapted to suit their environment in different ways

Frogs come in all sizes, shapes, colours and patterns - but why? Mr Smith and Zoo Ranger Anya explore why native UK frogs are dull green when poison arrow frogs are small and brightly coloured. How does each frog’s colouring help them survive and thrive in their habitats? You could use this short film as a springboard for further classroom exploration into camouflage, habitats, adaptation and bright colours.
