Shape up with a Super Movers maths lesson

Get active with our Super Movers Live Lesson on shapes and spaces, filmed at the Etihad Campus, home of Manchester City FC.

Featuring special guests including Manchester City super fan Braydon Bent, University Challenge's Bobby Seagull and famous faces from football, this Upper Key Stage 2 and 2nd Level maths lesson explores the properties of 2D shapes and delves into area and perimeter, symmetry and coordinates.

In this fun, active programme, students are introduced to key geometry concepts and encouraged to get hands on with estimating, measuring and calculating.

This edited programme was originally streamed live to schools in September 2018. Please note that we are no longer reviewing emails and messages from schools for inclusion in the lesson.
