Welcome to my afternoon show - on air every weekday 1300-1600 BST. It's "All About Suffolk", with farming, local history, sofa guests and much more! I also do Saturday breakfast 0600-0900 BST where my experts take your gardening calls.

Welcome!

If you've just found out about the show, here's what it's all about:

We go deep into our county's countryside to dig out the most fascinating stories and chat to the many colourful characters and interesting people who work there.

Because we live in a rural county, farming features regularly, as well as gardening.

We also have loads of time to look at some of the events that we mention in our what's-on diary. If you're running an event that you think we'd be interested in talking about then please get in touch.

Scratch the surface of life in our towns and villages and you'll find some amazing stories from days past such as the Cretingham murder.

We also get you to call in with stories from where you live.Μύ each day we feature a different Suffolk village or town. Listen out because the next one we do could be yours.

And just if you thought that was more than enough to keep your ears glued to the radio every weekday afternoon we still invite sofa guests in to talk about their lives and their work.

Suffolk's Butcher of the Year is part of the EADT Suffolk Food and Drink Awards and this week we'll be featuring the three butchers who are in the running.

My sofa guest on Monday is Robert Malster who has got a new book out on Stowmarket. It contains loads of old photographs, so we'll indulge in a bit of reminiscing.

Georgina Wroe sits in for me on Tuesday. She'll be chatting to Jan Alexander from Co-Operative Travel in Ipswich about holidays in Switzerland.

Herring

Georgina's in for me again on Wednesday. Her sofa guest after 1500 BST is Jill Bowring who is organising a herring festival in October.

I'm actually going to be presenting the EADT Suffolk Food and Drink Awards on Thursday, so Georgina does the honours on the programme once more.

Her sofa guest after 1500 BST is Kenny Bernard, a musician who has toured with the likes of Dionne Warwick and recorded a song made famous by Jimi Hendrix before he did! He's also an avid fundraiser for St Nicholas Hospice in Bury.

I'm back on Friday! I'll be chatting to a Kesgrave man who won first prize in the Best Front Garden category of this year's Garden News Gardener of the Year Competition.

I'll also be grabbing a word with Steve Worseley from the Suffolk Industrial Archaeology Society and asking about what they do in the county.
