Quite monstrous, why haven`t they made them look olde worlde,in a timber framed style like a Tudor house ?These modernist architects get away with murder,Prince Charles was right. They should also demolish that cinema too.

This building, (log cabin). is, like the cinema just round the corner, an absolute eye sore, WHAT on earth are the planners thinking, allowing these buildings, the bus station is like a BIG TOP! (when is the circus starting?)As for the ARC, ! what a waste of money, and a sure way to ruin what was one of the nicest towns in the UK. A resident of Bury for over 50 years, I feel ashamed to be part of it.The old centre of Bury is about to die, so many shops are moving to the Arc,Thank goodness M& S are staying in the Butter Market, at least they have some sence.

What a shame another identikit, bunch of shops that could be any where in the UK. What a waisted opportunity.

the new flats look like a chicken shed on stilts!Dreadful. To early to pass an opinion on the ARC (Cattle Market)

Thank you for such good and informative photos. Far better views than the Bury Free Press have produced so far. Seeing these pictures might help residents realise that their shopping and entertainment world is about to openwide!
