Blackpool-Burton Albion postponed at kick-off because of frozen pitch

Blackpool have only played once at home in League One since 15 December - a 2-0 win over Northampton earlier this month
Tuesday's League One game between Blackpool and Burton Albion was postponed at kick-off because of a frozen pitch at Bloomfield Road.
Both sets of players had warmed up in readiness for the 19:00 GMT kick-off.
Referee Chris Sarginson said he was happy with the pitch an hour before the game but the surface deteriorated rapidly, prompting his decision to call the match off.
No new date has yet been set for the game to be played.
Sarginson said there were "hard bits on the surface" at 19:00 GMT and there was "no way" the game would be completed.
"The temperature is dropping and it's only going to harden up and get worse," he said. "Player safety has to come into it."
Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said the right decision had been made.
"The players went out for a warm-up and I had three players slipping, one really badly when he couldn't stop," Hasselbaink told the Burton club website.
"The most important thing for me is the safety of my players. If it's not safe to play, then you can't play.
"The club has spent money on a coach and everything to get here. We're coming in after a good result, and we're feeling good, so we wanted to come here and play but the conditions have to be right for both teams.
"I don't think the conditions were right and it's unfortunate but we have to do the right things for our players."
