Eastleigh: Cavaghn Miley and Ben Williamson join National League side

National League side Eastleigh have signed Jersey captain Cavaghn Miley and ex-Cambridge striker Ben Williamson.

Central midfielder Miley, 22, joins from Jersey Premiership champions St Paul's having been recommended by former Jersey boss Brian Little.

Williamson signed for Cambridge from Gillingham in January 2016, but was released by the League Two club in May.

The 28-year-old made 43 appearances for the U's in all competitions last season, scoring one goal.

"Cav was recommended to me from a good friend and someone's judgement I trust," Hill told the

"There were a list of clubs looking at him and he has been on trial at a Football League club."
