Who do you think will take part at this year's festival? What would be your ideal festival line-up and who would you love to see headlining? For that matter, who would you absolutely loathe to see on the stage?
Who would be on your Isle of Wight fantasy festival line-up?
Have your say

David Bowie
David Bowie headlined at last year's festival

A huge array of class acts have played at The Isle of Wight festival which dates back to the late 60s. It has become part of music history with legends such as The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and T-Rex rocking the Island at the height of the flower power era.

Since re-vamping itself in 2002, the festival has seen artists such as The Charlatans, Paul Weller, The Darkness, The Manics, Delays and Bryan Adams entertain the crowds.

Last year saw the festival go back to its roots with The Who returning to the stage over 30 years after their last visit and the original pop idol David Bowie headlining on Sunday night.

So who would you love to see performing this year? What would your fantasy festival line-up be?
Have your say
.

Phil Spector London
The Sugar Bullets. For authentic rock and roll these guys are amazing I caught them when they played at Chippenham along side Little Richard and Bill hayles Commets so they are deffenatly destined for sucsess!!!!

nick isle of wight
apart from supergrass, morrissey, rem, the rest are poor get your act together and your money in your pocket or the festival will be a joke get the crowd pullers in sisters, ferdinand, keane, killers, weller,

Dave
I agree with pete and lucy and emily. ellemilano

G. Timbalo, East Ventnor
Some realistic bands... Kasabian, Feeder, Starsailor, Travis?. and Kasabian wud be good .

Daven, Soton
Finntroll would be good to see on the island! I agree with a previous comment of Cocteau Twins, that would be quite amazing! or Dead Can Dance (as they're touring)

Chris, Oxford
Be realistic with the capcity half that of the "big" festivals the isle of wight can't attract bands of the calabre of Green day and Oasis. although the lineup is disappointing in comparision to last year. Saturday is now focused on older bands, which don't interest fans of faithless and other acts appearing over the weekend. There should be a second stage this year with dance acts/ Djs,mcs, and new bands which are generally less expensive

Morgz, Bmth
INTERPOL!!

Volt Control, Weymouth
Portishead, Tricky, Moloko, Prodigy, Jamie Lidell, Super_Collider, m83, Chicks on Speed, Peaches, APhex twion, Aphrodite, Autechre, Loads of Jazz bands, massive attack, AIR, bowery electric, cocteau twins, ed rush & optical, hooverphonic, garbage, pink floyd.
