that you've seen - use the form below to
send in your U-review.
Here are a few guidelines to get you started -
If you're reviewing something that still has a few nights to run -
or a show that's touring in the area again - then we need to know
whether it's worth going along.
Even if the show isn't on in the region anymore, people elsewhere
may be looking for information on it through search engines.
Share one or two of the jokes or scenes - without ripping off the
entire act and don't give away the whole plot and ending to a play.
Try and make your piece direct and uncomplicated. Just pick up on
a striking moment, or describe the general feel of the night. Describe
the stage set. What was the highlight of the show? Was it value for
money?
Perhaps include an interesting fact or an observation of your own.
Try not to start by giving us a long history of a play or a comic.
If you're bursting with such information, write a few paragraphs for
the FACTS column that's on the left-hand side of some pages.
Don't say something was good if it wasn't. If you really hated it,
be fair - were there any redeeming features? Did the rest of the audience
seem to share your opinion?

Noble.
Keep the writing straightforward, with short sentences. We love commas,
but full stops are pretty good too. Between 200 and 300 words is about
right, up to 400 if you're really entertaining. Your piece will be
edited by one of our journalists, but with a light touch.
