This Friday and Saturday night, the third and fourth heats of Rockstar 08 will take place at Pilton Working Men’s Club. The competition is backed by Michael Eavis and musician Peter Gabriel and bands will perform in front of a live panel of judges including Michael Eavis, representatives from Real World Studios, Total Rock Radio, and UKmusic.com. The winner(s) will not only play at next year’s Glastonbury Festival but also a live set at the Pilton Equinox Party 2008 in September, where Scouting for Girls are set to play. They'll also receive a free recording session at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios.
