Who are Rocketeer?

Benny Carter on drums; Felix Hagan on vocals, bass and guitar; Francis Bevan on lead guitar; Hugh Carter on rhythm guitar; and Tom Heaven on keyboards.

Where in Somerset are you from?

Croscombe, near Wells

When did you form?

Summer 2006

How did you get together?

We finally got around to it after talking about it for ages, but we were all separated due to work and school.

We had all played in cover bands in various combinations before but had always planned to form our own band.

How would you describe your music?

Progressive rock with indie and psychedelic moments.

We draw on a huge range of influences. All of us contribute to songwriting, creating a constantly evolving sound.

How did the band gets its name?

Benny dreamt it up one day and it stuck.

Who are your musical influences?

Too many to mention, but anything revolving around intelligent guitar music usually has some impact.

All of us have had an education in classical music.

What is your most memorable gig so far?

Orange Street Music Club, Canterbury

Where would you most like to play?

Glastonbury Festival, Brixton Academy or Madison Square Gardens
