Who are BLOOB? Bloob on voice and guitar; Jodie on guidance and voice; The Big Hand on recording, mixing and mastering; Absinth on inspiration; and Jonn on everything else. Where in Somerset are you from? Taunton When did you form? 2001 How did you get together? We formed from the fragments of a band called Land. Jonn split and created BLOOB (Between the Light of Ordered Bodies). How would you describe your music? Dark melodic gothic lifestyles, with a jagged edge. How did the band gets its name? From the founding member of the band, Bloob. This became an acronym for the band name, Between the Light of Ordered Bodies, when the band was extended in 2004. Who are your musical influences? David Bowie, Fields of the Nephilim, Doors, The Mission, The Cure What is your most memorable gig so far? We tend to find gigs very hard to remember. The Bull in Bridport 2000 - for all the wrong reasons. Where would you most like to play? Stonehenge. The Great Pyramid. Finally, tell us some interesting facts about yourself - Jonn's only ever been taught to play the drums, but plays nearly every instrument in the band.
