Frome Carnival is part of the Wessex Grand Prix circuit.

Carnival route

Late entries are accepted for the evening procession until 6pm. Judging takes place en route:

• Marston Trading Estate
• The Butts
• Butts Hill
• Bath Street
• Market Place
• North Parade
• Berkley Road
• Badgers Hill

Other carnival events

There is a children's carnival procession that afternoon. Late entries are accepted until 1.45pm. Judging takes place at 2 with the procession moving off at 2.30:

• Victoria Park
• Weymouth Road
• Christchurch Street
• Butts Hill
• Somerset Road

Various road closures are in force around Frome from 2pm to about 10pm.
