On 7 June 2023 we were able to put ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ One HD and ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Two HD in prime slots 1 and 2 for newer Freeview Play televisions when connected to the internet (we refer to these below as βqualifying TVsβ). Μύ
Previously, ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ One HD and ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Two HD were listed at slots 101 and 102 and, for most devices, that existing listing will continue to be duplicated (ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ One HD would be at slot 1 and 101, etc.)Μύ
For qualifying TVs, the standard definition versions of ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ One and ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Two will be listed in 611 and 612 respectively.Μύ

To check if your TV is qualifying, please go to channel 100 (the βFreeview Exploreβ service) on your Freeview Play device and select βGet Help" from the "Help and Settings" section. In the bottom right hand corner of the screen, you will see a collection of numbers and letters which are the βFreeview Play platform IDβ β if that ID appears in the list above, then your TV should be able to process the swapping when connected to the internet.Μύ
It is worth noting that If you disconnect your TV from the internet, the enhanced channel listing will be lost and the listing will revert to ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ One and ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Two in SD at the top of the EPG.Μύ
