Abstract

The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ has been deploying two of its own design of RF hazard meters since about 1964. These are used to ensure that levels of RF field can be measured and thus a safe operating regime can be maintained.

The scales on the meters have been modified to reflect new guidance from the National Radiological Protection Board and meters therefore have to be recalibrated.

This report describes the design and calibration methods used including independent certification by National Physical Laboratory.
