Abstract

Measurements of the sound-pressure reflection coefficients of typical scenery-flat materials have been made. Substantial agreement has been found between two methods of measurement with regard to the order in which they rank the reflective properties of typical materials. The report ends with some comments relating to the sound insulation and acoustics of sets with open sides and tops, which are relevant to the choice of materials for flats.
