Abstract

This report describes the first stage in the development, using a small-scale model, of a vertically-polarised aerial for radiating two television programmes in Band III from the Crystal Palace television station. The aerial consists of 8 tiers of tangential batwing elements mounted on a 4 ft 4 in. (1.32 m) square section of the tower.
