Abstract

This report describes a portable miniature loudspeaker amplifier required for acoustic tests and which has been designed to keep weight, bulk and number of components to a minimum.

The performance of the amplifier with regard to frequency response, harmonic distortion at rated output and noise level is comparable with that of the standard Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ amplifier MPA/1 but the power output is 7 1/2W instead 10W and the overall gain is 18 1/2 db instead of 28 db.
