The design of a general purpose pulse generator
Report 1944-16
Abstract
This report describes the circuit and mode of operation of a pulse generator deriving square pulses, the width of which may be varied at will between limits of 10 m.secs and 10 usecs., from an input sine-wave. The repetition frequency of the pulses is the frequency of the sine-wave which may be varied between 50 c/s and 20 kc/s. The phase relationship between the pulses and the input sine-wave is substantially independent of the amplitude of the latter over a wide range.
