Electrical interference and field strength measurements at Caversham and Crowsley: May - June 1943

Report 1943-19

Published: 1 January 1943

Abstract

Measurements of noise level under "summer" conditions have been taken at Caversham and Crowsley sites shortly after the transfer of the monitoring unit from Wood Norton. The measurements show that the noise level is of a low order at both sites and that a source of interference at the Earley Power Station has been satisfactorily suppressed. A table of field-strengths of European stations measured at Caversham and Crowsley in daylight is given.
