This Emerging Technology Report addresses the current industrial interest in Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). It is a summary and conclusion of the work undertaken by the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ R&D Advisory team over the period September 2022 through January 2023.
This document gives a brief explanatory overview as context for the concluding recommendations which describe a cautious and measured response to this new technology.
We believe that acting on these recommendations will prepare the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ should this technology emerge as a substantial market force in the near future, resulting in both challenges and opportunities for the industry.
