James Shephard joined the Render Engine Broadcasting team in Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Research & Development in 2019. He has worked at the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ since 2012 as a developer in iPlayer and Sounds. Previously James worked in mobile application development and the computer games industry. He studied Architecture and then Software Engineering at .
In the Render Engine Broadcasting team James is looking at how techniques and tools from real-time 3D games can be used to provide new forms of valuable content to Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ audiences, and how that can be done sustainably and realistically at large scale.
