Residential respite care centre for people with Aids and HIV
In our continuing series looking at Care, we turn today to care and support for those with HIV and Aids. Despite there being a number of support networks β both large and small up and down the country, in England and Wales there is only one residential respite care centre where those with the condition and their families can go for a break, to relax with people with the same circumstances. Thatβs assuming of course, that you can get the funding to go; something thatβs easier said than done. Tyddyn Bach, (βsmall holdingβ in English) on the edge of Snowdonia overlooking the Menai Strait, has just celebrated its tenth anniversary. Stuart Robinson has been to take a look round.
