We’ve had the European Capital of CultureÌý Glasgow in 1990 Liverpool in 2008 - and now on You and Yours we’re going to announce the shortlist for the UK City of Culture. And we’re going to do it live. Well, the Culture Minister Margaret Hodge is going to do it on the programme. She is joined by Phil RedmondÌýwho was Creative Director for Liverpool in 2008 . He chairs that City of Culture Advisory Panel. He’s said to have lobbied ministers to create this new title UK Capital of Culture.
