A lack of care in the community?

In 2007 Fiona Pilkington killed herself and her disabled daughter after a decade of abuse from local teenagers. The case illustrated how disabled people can be singled out for harassment and violence. The Channel 4 documentary Sticks and Stones which airs on Friday 5 March talks to adults with disabilities about their experiences. From low-level bullying to murder, crimes against them persist - so is society doing enough to protect them?
