Ìý Pig keeping 05ÌýJan 2006 Ìý
Why are pedigree pigs flavour of the month?

Carol Harris reached the top of her profession in the Arts Council, rubbing shoulders with Britain's artistic establishment. Ten years on and she's downshifted to raise pigs in Welshpool in mid Wales.

Now an expert on the subjectÌýshe has written a guide to traditional pig keeping. She's also not alone - the former editor of the Independent, Rosie Boycott has been raving about the joys of keeping rare breeds. So what's the appeal?

Caz Graham visited Welshpool to discover why pedigree pigs are flavour of the month.
