Why are more women choosing to train for the clergy?
A total of 564 men and women were recommended to train as future clergy in the Church of England in 2004; the highest number in six years. The recommendations include 284 men and 280 women.
Dr Carrie Pemberton, an ordained priest and a commissioner on the Women's National Commission, her husband Canon Jeremy Pemberton and Gordon Khurt, Director of Ministry at Church House join Jenni to discuss why more women have chosen train for the clergy.
