Help us find the top 10 novels that have changed the way we see women by nominating your choice
Woman's Hour invites you to nominate the novel which has spoken to you on a personal level. It may haveÌýchanged the way you look at yourself or simply made you happy to be a woman. As a man, it may have affected your understanding of the women in your life. Your selection can be written by a man or a woman, in this country or abroad, as long as it touched your life in some way.Ìý
Jenni talks to Lisa Jardine, who's chaired prizes including theÌýManÌýBooker Prize and has conducted research for the to come up with an initialÌý from a .ÌýThey're joined by Jackie Kay, whose novel Trumpet has changed lives, and Radio 4's Open Book presenter and former Man Booker Prize judge, Mariella Frostrup, to discuss what makes a Watershed book.
So start thinking which novel made a difference, gave you hope, kick-started a course of action, or changed your mind.

The top 10 novels are announced withÌýa special programme from the Norfolk & Norwich Millennium Library in front of a studio audience. The list will also be published on this website.

Now all you have to do isÌýnominate a novel by filling in the email form below. We would like to ask some listeners to talk on air about the book they have nominated and we may contact you at a later date for this purpose. You are under no obligation to take part.ÌýÌýWe may also publish some of your comments on this website. Please read theÌýTerms and Conditions of Entry carefully.
