Ìý Victoria Hamilton 31ÌýMar 2004 Ìý
Jane Asher
She has been described as the new Judi Dench...

ButÌýVictoria Hamilton is certainly used to being in the company of big name actors. Currently playing a woman under threat of lobotomy, in Tennessee William's Suddenly Last Summer, she co-stars with Dame Diana Rigg.

She's also worked with Jane Horrocks and director Steven Poliakoff in Sweet Panic. And then there was the time that Meryl Streep popped into her dressing room on Broadway to rave about her performance in A Day in the Death of Joe Egg.

Victoria Hamilton joins Jenni to talk about her life and career.

Suddenly Last Summer is at the Richmond Theatre, London from 19 April to 24 April and transfers to the Albery Theatre on 14 May and will run until 31 July
