Ìý Peter Pan and Wendy 09 January 2004 Ìý
There've been countless interpretations of JM Barrie's classic tale of the flying boy, Peter Pan.

There was the winsome Disney version, Spielberg's Hook and even a sixties psychedelic version which landed the producer in jail for obscenity. And they're still coming - with a new film, a new theatre production and a new book.

The character of Wendy has been interpreted in many different ways over the years. Was she a tomboy or mother to the lost boys? Julia Eccleshare, children's book editor at The Guardian and author of Beatrix Potter to Harry Potter and Karen Wallace author of Wendy, join Martha to discuss.
