Ìý Sectioning under the Mental Health Act Thursday 25 September 2003 Ìý
No one could fail to have been moved by the sad news of Frank Bruno's hospitalisation. It's understood his family and friends had become increasingly worried for him.

Four years ago Jill Scholl had to make one of the most difficult decisions of her life. Her son's behaviour was becoming increasingly erratic and after years of trying to cope she finally decided he needed professional help. She had him sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
Jenni talks to Jill Scholl about how a family copes when they are forced to act and to Dr Amanda Poynton, consultant psychiatrist at Manchester Royal Infirmary.
