Chef Frances Atkins is one of only four women in the country to run a Michelin starred restaurant, which she received in January. She's chef-proprietor of the Yorke Arms at Ramsgill in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire.
She was married to the barrister George Carmen, who refused to let her work, saying it was socially unacceptable for a women to be working. When the marriage ended she rebuilt her catering career, rising to the highest echelons of the profession.
Frances joins Jenni and shows her how to cook an east coast favourite; crab. Recipe for Scarborough Crab
