Ìý Gardening Passions Friday 11 July 2003 Ìý
From the temptation of Eve in Eden to Tennyson's invitation to Maud, the garden has long been a symbol of secret love and forbidden delights.

Today, in the Tudor setting of Hampton Court we'll be exploring the pleasures of paradise lost and found. Whether it's a wildflower meadow, a woodland walk, a window box or an allotment - creating a garden is indeed a passion, an obsession, and on occasion, an addiction.
Four people who've succumbed to a horticultural love affair join Martha - plant hunter Derry Watkins, singer Kim Wilde, author and gardener Deborah Kellaway and the urban gardener Elspeth Thompson.
