Ìý Long Lunches Tuesday 27 May 2003 Ìý
These days the British Lunchtime is often no more than a grabbed sandwich eaten on the run - such are the consequences of our hectic lifestyle. But, elsewhere, things are different. In Italy, the long lunch is still an important part of family life.

Have the Italians got it right? Should we spend more time having lunch?
Razia Iqbal is joined by Julie Biuso, author of The Long Italian Lunch and Rosie Sykes, Kitchen Doctor for Guardian Weekend and chef at The Sutton Arms restaurant in London to discuss how the long lunch can be adapted to make tasty packed lunches or long treats for the weekend.
