Ìý Anoushka Shankar Wednesday 14 May 2003 Ìý
Anoushka Shankar made her professional debut at 13 having been trained exclusively by her father, the legendary sitar player Ravi Shankar. Since then she has released three albums, performed with her father worldwide, and is one of the few international female performers in the predominately male world of Indian classical music.

She has just written a book honouring her father called Bapi - The Love of My Life . Anoushka Shankar joins Jenni to talk about the extraordinary personal and professional relationship that she has with her father.
London Performance: 'An Evening of Ragas' Queen Elizabeth Hall, 25th May 2003, 7:45 pm For Uk Tour Dates: see Offical Website
