Ìý Julianne Moore Friday 21 February 2003 Ìý
Despite many nominations, the coveted Oscar has so far eluded her. This year though, actress Julianne Moore is up for not one, but two of the awards.

In The Hours she plays a fifties housewife in an unhappy marriage, and in the soon to be released Far From Heaven she plays... a fifties housewife in an unhappy marriage. Similar but ultimately very different roles - one a suicidal depressive, the other a woman who seems to have it all, whose world crashes around her.
Julianne Moore joins Martha to tell her why her Oscar nominations won't change her life and why there are lessons from the Fifties for the women of today.
