Ìý Fencing Friday 20 December 2002 Ìý
If you can tell your epée from your sabre, you're probably one of the growing numbers of women - and men - who are taking up fencing as a sport.

...and it's set to become even more popular with the new James Bond film, which has Madonna camping it up as a fencing instructor. And even though it's traditionally seen as a very masculine discipline, there are several fine examples of swashbuckling women throughout history.
Author & Journalist Richard Cohen, who is also five times UK National Saber Champion, alongwith Erica Wagner, Literary Editor of The Times, join Martha to look at the history of and current vogue for fencing.
