This winter black really is the new black with the return of the Goth look. White face, red lips, kohl-rimmed eyes and a moody frown are the key elements.
We'll be looking into the dark subculture which inspired this fashion. It took off in the early 80's with bands like The Cure and Bauhaus, and has never gone away.
Paul Hodkinson, author of Goth: Identity, Style & Subculture and Natasha Scharf, author of Goth magazine Meltdown join Jenni to discuss why Goths have endured when most trends have come and gone. Paul Hodkinson, Goth: Identity, Style & Subculture, published by University College Northampton, ISBN 1 85973 605 X, £14.99
