The welsh home of a legendary soprano will echo again to the sound of arias this weekend.
Born in 1843 and destined to become the highest paid diva of the age, Adelina Patti made her home in a Welsh castle. There she built her own theatre which is now opened for courses with Opera School Wales and performances by Opera Box.
Claudia Hammond visited Craig-y-Nos, to uncover the story of a woman whose larger-than-life behaviour is still remembered by locals and whose ghost is said to wander the halls.
