There's nothing like the smell of the flowers and plants in the garden you grew up in to bring back memories of childhood - or so the poet Sujata Bhatt told Faith Lawrence at the Commonwealth Literature Festival.
She now lives in Germany and explained her inspiration for the poem " Whenever I return". It's an account of a visit to the garden of her childhood in Poona, in India.
