Throat singing is an ancient Inuit tradition. Tanya Tagaq is a practitioner who has become something of an underground success since arriving in Britain last month.
Tanya demonstrates an amazing range of sounds as she performs live. She tells Jenni about her career. She has been leading throat-singing workshops, performing at folk festivals and she joined Bjork on tour last year.
