Ìý Lucrezia Borgia Wednesday 20 February 2002 Ìý
Lucrezia Borgia described by Victor Hugo as "the most hideous, the most repulsive, the most complete moral deformity" is getting her own year long festival in Ferrara in Italy.

After four centuries, is it time to re-examine Lucrezia as a great patron of the arts, an astute politician, and exemplary mother?
Simonetta Fraquelli, a consultant with Ferrara Arte who are curating the festival, and writer, Sarah Bradford who is researching a biography on Lucrezia Borgia, join Jenni to re-assess the reputation of this most infamous of women.
For further information about the Ferrara Festival, please contact the Ferrara Tourist Office on 0039 0532 207 696 or 0039 0532 209 370
