Ìý Women rally drivers Wednesday 24 October 2001 Ìý
Pat Carlsson (nee Moss) is one of the greatest women rally drivers in British history.

She competed throughout the 1950s and 60s, and was the European champion in 1959.
The following year she won the Liege Rome Liege rally which had never before been won by a British driver, let alone a woman. She is also the sister of Stirling Moss.
Pat's co-driver was Ann Wisdom (who most people nickname Whizz) who she teamed up with at the age of 18.
Ann hadn't even passed her driving test when she started to navigate but she was the first paid rallyist on a princely wage of £20 a week.
Philippa Budgen went to meet them and went for a spin in their favourite red Austin Healey.
