Ìý Alison Moyet Wednesday 8 August 2001 Ìý
During the 1980s Alison Moyet became one of the most distinctive voices in pop music.

She found fame first with the band Yazoo before going solo with a string of top ten hits including Love Resurrection, All Cried Out and Love Letters.
She's now appearing in her first ever musical - as Mama Morton in Chicago and explains to Martha what appealed to her about the role of saucy, sexually ambiguous prison matron.
Alison Moyet will be appearing in Chicago at London's Adelphi Theatre from 13th August. Box office: 020 7344 0055.
